The Great Sandy Straits/Lady Musgrave Experience, 2018.
A voyage of exploration and discovery which includes a trip to the southern extremity of the Great Barrier Reef.
This is the trip to expand your coastal cruising experience in a fully supported environment. You’ll get guided across the Wide Bay Bar and follow the leader up the Great Sandy Straits on the inside of Fraser Island.
We’ll overnight and dine ashore in Bundaberg the night before the 60nm passage out to the Lady Musgrave Island which will make the Australian mainland disappear below the horizon enhancing the feeling of discovery. The islands and reefs of the Capricorn and Bunker Groups are situated astride the Tropic of Capricorn at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef providing beauty above and below the turquoise waters.
